New advances in sewer repair and replacement technology is now allowing homeowner and businesses the luxury of preserving precious and expensive landscaping due to disruptive and expensive excavation. Previously, every sewer line replacement had to be completely dug up which is costly and can destroy our beautiful Northern California terrain.
Dale Plumbing & Heating has invested in a new trenchless sewer line machine which is minimally invasive and reduces costs of sewer line replacements for our valued customers.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We use a sewer pipe bursting machine which is helpful for all kinds of sewer lines, even those that are badly damaged. We use a heave cable and feed it through the existing sewer line. This cable is then attached to the front of a cone shaped tool called a bursting head. The head is then fastened to a new length of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) pipe and through the strength of a very powerful hydraulic winch, the new pipe is pulled through the entire length of the old sewer line. The head breaks up the old pipe and pushes it into the surrounding soil.
THE RESULTS:
A brand new sewer line that is high density, completely clean and resistant to cracking, leaks, and root intrusion!
And best of all...your landscape is left intact and your lawn and property is clean as a whistle!
